Biznaga asks you to consider the following Terms & Conditions prior to making an Independent Travel booking. By booking with us and paying the non-refundable deposit or full payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. Biznaga may amend these terms and conditions at any time. All amended Terms & Conditions shall automatically be effective upon being posted on this website. Accordingly, we recommend you check the website frequently for any changes to these Terms and Conditions. If you have paid a deposit on a holiday, Biznaga will notify you as soon as possible of any changes.
All reservations for an Independent travel shown herein are to be made directly with Biznaga. For Independent travel, a non-refundable Independent Travel Planning Fee of 500€ is payable for the preparation of all Independent Travel. The Independent Travel Fee will be discounted off the total price should the trip go ahead.
Reservations will not be considered definite until a deposit of 30% of the Total Independent Travel Price is received. The Deposit payment is non-refundable and the final payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Reservations made within 90 days prior to departure must be paid in full. Failure to pay the full amount by the due date may result in a late payment fee or cancellation. Credit Card payments will be subject to applicable merchant charges
All quoted prices are per person and are land based only, including double occupancy (two guests sharing a hotel room) and include planning, handling and operational charges. Prices will be provided in Euros. If an estimate of the currency conversion is provided, this is to be used as a guide only. A single supplement will be payable for guests who would like their own room.
Biznaga reserves the right to adjust Independent Travel prices to cover changes in costs, tariffs and taxes received after prices are published. Biznaga is under no obligation to give breakdown costs involved in any Independent Travel. All Independent Travel prices are current at the time of publication and are susceptible to fluctuations. We reserve the right to alter the Independent Travel price in accordance with changes in prices for products and services.
Inclusions include all accommodation, meals, land transport including drivers, internal air transport (if required), and all fully-guided sightseeing and entrance fees as specified in the itinerary; plus services of a Biznaga host based in Spain, and taxes, including tourist taxes in relevant locations.
Baggage: Independent Travel prices include the handling of one piece of baggage per person. Weight restrictions of 23kg apply on all routes on internal air flights; all details will be provided with preliminary Independent Travel documentation. Baggage and personal effects are at owner’s risk throughout the Independent Travel. Please check with your international carrier for other baggage restrictions applicable to your international flights.
Exclusions include international travel to Spain; travel insurance (which is compulsory); items of a personal nature; phone calls; passports and visas (if applicable); entry fees into countries charged at the airport; laundry or tips. Personal transport; excess baggage; security and additional government taxes not covered already. Meals not specifically mentioned in the itinerary; beverages unless specifically described. Optional excursions, optional activities or optional accomodation or flight upgrades that may be offered but are not included in the Independent Travel price.
Biznaga notes that Independent Travel participants are able to, but are under no obligation to purchase airline flights via Biznaga. All participants are requested to provide Biznaga with their international flight schedules no later than 60 days prior to Independent Travel departure.
Biznaga pledges to make every effort to operate all Independent Travel as advertised. If for any reason we are forced to change your booking or part of it for reasons beyond our control prior to or during the actual Independent Travel, we bear no responsibility for this and reserve the right to vary the Independent Travel and give you prompt notice thereof. Any savings realised by these changes will be refunded to guests. Any resultant expenses will be covered by Biznaga.
Biznaga also reserves the right to change the daily Independent Travel Arrangements due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond its control. These decisions are final and may not be disputed during or after the Independent Travel.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is current. All international passengers require a current passport with at minimum 6 months validity after the return date of any holiday and at least two blank pages for immigration and visa stamps. Visa requirements vary for different nationalities and depend on the countries visited during the holiday. You are advised to contact appropriate consulates to ascertain visa requirements.
Passport and visa requirements are not our responsibility. Biznaga is not liable for any loss or expense due to a passenger’s failure to have a valid passport or visa. For security reasons, airlines require your name exactly as it appears in your passport. It remains your responsibility to advise these details. If you do not provide the correct information and we have to re-issue airline tickets or other documentation, the passenger will bear all costs incurred.
Ultimately, Biznaga cannot be held responsible for any delays, damages and/or losses, including missed portions of holidays, related to improper or insufficient travel documentation.
It is a condition of joining Biznaga, that all participants take out comprehensive travel insurance. We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time you pay a deposit. Please check your policy carefully to ensure it includes holiday delay, holiday cancellation, holiday interruption, and baggage insurance. Health, accident, and emergency evacuation insurance are also strongly recommended. Please email Biznaga a copy of your insurance prior to your departure. Please note: participants without Travel Insurance may be refused travel with Biznaga.
It is the responsibility of the participants to be informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings by referring to their country’s Embassy Department travel website. (You may contact us for information on Embassy location and contact details.) In the event of a travel warning against travel to the specific destination location(s) of the trip; Biznaga will also consult embassies to confirm or cancel a holiday.
If the participant still chooses to travel, not withstanding any travel advisory or warning, the passenger assumes all responsibilities and risks of personal injury, death or property damage. Biznaga will not be liable for any result that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against.
To enjoy the Independent Travel as intended, a minimum to reasonable level of fitness is required as there is often a considerable amount of walking. Guests should have the capacity to participate without any assistance (Extenuating circumstances may be considered). If any participant has any medical, physical or other condition including disabilities that could create a risk to himself or herself or to other members of the Independent Travel, Biznaga requires written notice at the time of booking.
Biznaga reserves the right to decline any applicant or to remove any participant from the Independent Travel, at the participant’s own expense, whose conduct is deemed incompatible with their Travel Companions or whose health condition or mobility may risk and impact the safety, health or full participation of that participant or other Travel Companions. Participants without travel insurance will not be accepted by Biznaga.
Additionally, should a participant require or request medical attention during their travel, such attention will be provided by locally available health care officials and at locally available facilities. In such events, Biznaga is not liable for any direct or indirect costs, losses or expenses incurred by a passenger for health service costs incurred nor in the quality of medical care or medical services rendered.
Participants are requested to familiarise themselves with any health requirements specific to the countries being visited. It is highly recommended that you check and get advice from a medical practitioner and/or their local health authority or Consulate for the latest health requirements (i.e. precautions, vaccinations, etc.) applicable for travel to a destination.
We ask you to refrain from smoking whilst in the company of other passengers, guides and drivers. We operate a strict ‘No Smoking’ Policy whilst in any form of transport. We make frequent ‘comfort stops’ to allow free time for guests. Please note, following any instance of a participant smoking whilst on-board any of our vehicles, they will have been deemed to have broken their contract with Biznaga and will be asked to leave the vehicle, and their Independent Travel with us will be terminated there and then. Please observe all notices both inside and outside all regarding smoking or non-smoking facilities or areas.
Biznaga is acting only in the capacity of agent in all matters regarding all Independent Travel. Whilst we take all reasonable care to select excellent quality service providers, these services are not provided by us but by airlines, hoteliers, transportation companies, local guides and other service providers which are not under our control. All coupons, vouchers, receipts and tickets issued by the airlines, hoteliers and transportation companies, travel agents and other service providers are issued subject to the terms and conditions of liability contained in those documents, which may limit or exclude liability for death, personal injury, delay, and loss of or damage to baggage and are subject to the laws of the country where the services are provided.
Biznaga assumes no liability for any acts or omissions of any supplier including, without limitation, those involving failure to deliver or partial or inadequate delivery of services, overbooking or downgrading of services, cancellation of Independent Travel, schedule changes, re-routings, delay, theft, damage to or loss of baggage, property damage, accidents, death, sickness or injuries to persons regardless of cause, or other unforeseen events caused in connection with those service providers, their employees, agents, servants or representatives, whether or not any Independent Travel sold, services tendered or transportation provided is arranged through Biznaga.
Biznaga does not accept any liability caused directly or indirectly by events beyond our control, including but without limitation to war or threat/acts of war, acts of government, acts of terrorism, fire, strikes or other labour activities, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, quarantines, floods, weather conditions, natural disasters, incidents at sea, accidents or failure of mechanical equipment, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time or other disturbances of any kind which cancel, interfere with, or add cost to the services requested.
There are certain inherent risks associated with travel and at times there may be inaccessibility to medical attention and difficulty in evacuation from remote locations in the case of a medical emergency. Passenger assumes all such risks with regard to these possibilities. Biznaga is not liable for any negligent or will-full act of any such person or entity or of any third person.
While participating in Independent Travel there may be instances where you may wish to join guides for activities in free time outside the Independent Travel Arrangements which may involve catching taxis or using public transport to shopping/dinner locations or other destinations chosen at the time. The Biznaga guides will not be liable for any accident, injury, death, property damage or loss in relation to such activities. By submitting the booking form, you agree to take part in these activities at your own risk.
If you have any complaints before, during or after your Independent Travel, you must make it known at the earliest opportunity to your Biznaga host in Spain who will endeavour to resolve the issue at the time. If at the end of the Independent Travel you feel your complaint has not been properly dealt with, you must notify Biznaga in writing within 30 days of the last day of your Independent Travel arranged by Biznaga.
